Fumio Asakura (1883〜1964) is a sculptor from Bungo Ono city who is regarded as the father of modern Japanese sculpture. There are 40 examples of his work in this museum.
You can enjoy appreciating art works within the beautiful nature of Asakura’s native place. It is a healing space to appreciate a work of art.
